It is always a pleasure to visit St Giles C of E Primary School and see their fantastic provision of free after-school clubs for the children.
I got to take part in the boys and girls football training, which is supported by a partnership with Walsall FC Official .
Alongside other sporting activities like cricket and hockey, the school is currently building a new outdoor area with Birmingham Wildlife Trust. It will include a pond, reading area, and a bug house to create a place where children can learn and relax.
It was great to speak with the Head Teacher (Mr Dakin) and members of his staff team, who are clearly very passionate and want the best for every child in the school.
P.S. I even managed to save a couple of penalties!
